Genre hybridity is used in the advertising campaign as it helps to attract all audiences such as comedy for the younger generation as it things they will find funny and the action to attract the older audiences along with the use of characters such as benny to attract the older audience as this will bring back nostalgia and good memories from their childhood. Maximising the amount off people that would come and pay to watch the film.
How might the
target audiences interpret the advertising campaign differently? Is this
reflected by their social differences?
The audience could see the advertising campaign as quite sexist as there is only one female character in the main cast who is only there for a romantic reason. it could also be seen as not very inclusive as there is only one black character in the film that is virtivus.
